Chief Of Chaplains US Army, Major General Donald L. Rutherford presents Medal of Excellence and Caring For The Army Family to Samuel Teolis at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. on Memorial Day May 28, 2012. The two met following the special service for SGT Sabo.

SGT Lesli H. Sabo Memorial Fund Ellwood City, PA, USA

American Legion Post 157 of Ellwood City and the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 112 of Lawrence County are planning “A Final Tribute” to Sgt. Leslie H. Sabo Jr., a Medal of Honor recipient.  A memorial to honor and remember the recipient of the highest award for bravery than can be given to an individual in the United States is being planned to be erected in Ellwood City’s Legion Park.
