Episode-242- Sweet And Easy Strawberry Bed For Spring

The goal with my permaculture plans as the food forest takes shape is to have the sweetest home in the neighborhood. Literally the sweetest. With all the different berries, fruit trees, kiwi vines, grapes and more I am bringing new meaning to Home Sweet Home. Nothing starts that feeling in spring better than strawberries which are being picked now and they are the best yet. The reason they are the best in four seasons is because of the prepping that went on in early April. It wasn’t much work or effort but yeah it did require some attention and planning.

Today’s video is from April and now that June is fast approaching the rewards are well worth the minor effort at making the bed productive. The problem I face going forward is that the beds shown in the video will be near the productive end after this season. The good news is that I have taken the liberty to plant more strawberries in a bunch of other places. I also wnet and got some Natural Albino® Pineberry from NourseFarms.com. Hopefully that will be an interesting crop to grow and eat.
