Episode-115- Prepare Bug Out Bags For Survival And Emergencies

I had to recently check my bags because of the June 29, 2012 Blackout in the mid-Atlantic states that was caused by a Derecho which is a widespread, long-lived, straight-line windstorm

that is associated with a fast-moving band of severe thunderstorms. I’m glad I did as there are always things such as food and water that need to be rotated out and it also gives me a chance to evaluate the contents of the bag. I continue to listen to http://www.thesurvivalpodcast.com and other shows and as such my education on topics such as bug out bags continues to expand. I’m always learning new ways of evaluating situations and contingency plans and this also helps in my regular day to day life.

The decision to bug out is not an easy one but one in which you must listen to your ancient instincts of flee or stay. You cannot be paralyzed and if you bug out and nothing goes wrong then you have practiced for when things will go wrong. When you hear bad news is coming your way and impending doom is in your head, act on your bad feelings and take off.

Watch today’s video and let me know what you think of it and how you prepare for when things go bad. I can be reached at TonyTeolis@todolisthome.com
