Episode-134- Honey Bee Death Warning Ignored

Look At Dying Honey Bees
An Up Close view of dead and dying honey bees outside the hives. 24 hours after floor in gazebo was swept. 11-11-12

This video has some up views of what it’s like when honey bees die. I have two hives in a gazebo and it’s easy to see the dead bees. The video depicts honey bees in varying stages of death but worry not my friends as the majority of honey bees in two hives are thriving on verge of winter. We had a last possible reprieve of warm weather before some cold spells coming up in northern Virginia.

It’s Veterans Day in America and Armistice Day still in some countries that fought The Great War of 1914-1918. World War I brought massive destruction and death to the most civilized parts of Europe during those years and the guns became silent at the Eleventh Hour or the Eleventh Day of the Eleventh Month in 1918. It’s only pure coincidence that  today’s video also depicts death albeit on a much more local but no less important level. Remember the day and what it means.

You can say thanks to a veteran or active duty service member in a special way. I recommend sending honey.
